The housing project was a hands-on training project to retrain people and put them back to work. It has three bedrooms, living room/dining area, kitchen and 1 bath. This property located in the valley does not have cell service, although we do have free Wi-Fi. There is no cable TV, but we do have Netflix, Pandora, and plenty of DVD's/Blue Ray movies for your enjoyment.

Meridian House is located on a working honey bee farm. We are a strict NON SMOKING, NO PETS, property. The cottage is a beautiful house in itself, setting in the back of the main house. Meridian house can sleep 6 people, with 1 queen bed downstairs, a king and twin beds upstairs. The near-by town of Crossville offers a wide variety of restaurants for meals, guest must provide own meals. The cottage does have a refrigerator, keurig coffee pot, microwave, and other small appliances, does not have a stove/oven. Guests can have access to a gas grill at the main house. The property does have resident swans, Mr. Tucker and Pat, who like to go cruising on any of the three ponds on the 15 acres. These ponds are stocked with fish; fishing poles can be provided or feel free to bring your own.

The pool house is an additional 1000 square foot but has no sleeping quarters. The host likely will be home for most stays but interaction is as much or as little as you would like. Pets are welcome if they are well behaved, up to date on all shots and medicines, and certified flea free. Unruly pets will be fed to the local bears. The doors have combination locks, so check-in simply consists of arriving and entering, regardless of the hour (after 4:00 PM). Normal checkout time is 10:00 AM. There are two steps from the parking area to the porch and one step from the porch into the cabin. There is one step down from the cabin to the rear porch and six steps down from the rear porch to the ground. The cabin is NOT considered handicap accessible. The rear porch runs the full width of the house with a magnificent view of the former Renegade Mountain Golf Course and nearby Black Mountain during every season of the year (except when the clouds roll in and visibility goes to zero). The windows and doors are screened, although bugs are few and far between at the top of the mountain. Even on the hottest days air conditioning is rarely needed, but available for guests having hot flashes. The open front porch overlooks the driveway and parking area. You can sit in your rocking chair and count the cars that go by in a day in between naps, Normally this will not require using all of your fingers, and never requires all of your fingers and toes. There is one roomy bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor of the cabin and a second, larger bedroom with a king bed upstairs. Each BR has an adjoining full bath. There is also a loft area overlooking the den that can sleep 2 additional guests if necessary. We also offer a full sized washer and dryer so you can have clean clothes even if you forgot your suitcase. The cabin has central heat and cooling, so you will always be comfortable. The unit is rarely needed in the summertime, since temperatures on the top of Renegade Mountain are generally at least 10-15 degrees cooler than in Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga, and the humidity is also much lower. Located in North Cumberland County, our rustic farmhouse is ideally situated between Fairfield Glade, Tansi, Uplands, Catoosa, and the Mennonite Community in Clarkrange. Perfect as a family gathering place for reunions, birthdays, or vacations. We would love the opportunity to host you! An old farmhouse built in the 1920's from stone, it sits on several acres with a big red barn in the back and a huge yard for outside games. We have a sun porch with a couch that turns into a bed. It is the perfect place to play one of the board games we keep in the dining room cabinet. A TV and DVD player are in the living room, though we do not have cable. It's a wonderful family space. We are not fancy here and pets are definitely welcome! Do not hesitate to contact us if there is a problem during your stay. This is an older house and so we do not have HVAC. We do use gas heat and window air conditioning units. Sorry for any inconvenience! Also, please note that the dishwasher is broken. Please note that this is a budget property and is undergoing continuous renovation. Things are always breaking and being repaired. The property is a bargain and you should not expect it to be super fancy or modern. I really want to stress that this is a get what you pay for rental. I do not want to mislead anyone. You will enjoy a comfortable stay at our recently renovated Country Club Villa's, fully furnished two bedroom and three bathroom condos located just adjacent to Druid Hills Country Club right in the heart of Fairfield Glade! Walking distance to Community Center. Perfect for a golf outing, family get together, or a great place to rest if you are just passing through. Don't be cramp at other locations - before booking any other condo in the area be sure to clarify how many separate beds you are getting - our units have 4 separate full beds and three full bathrooms! We also have a unit with an extra loft with a total of 6 separate beds! We can get you guest passes that will allow you access to the area amenities as a guest of ours, but you will have to pay the cost to use each amenity.
